Easgesciffe, Stockton on Tees.
We were contacted by the homeowner with concerns about a large beech tree which was under a Tree Preservation Order (TPO). On arrival and initial assessment we confirmed the tree was totally dead and had been for some time. We contacted the council planning department on behalf of the customer and arranged for the emergency removal of the TPO and put a team together to safely dismantle and remove it. The tree was climbed and reduced from the top down, rigging carried out where needed. A 6 wheeler hiab wagon was used to remove the timber in large sections and speed up the job.
